Reducing media diversity

Slate, disagreeable as it was to many of my (admitted) biases,
at least offered a divergent editorial stance
from the media titans.

Also, as others have noted,
not only did it in its editorial writings often lambaste the WaPo,
but it gave the platform and opportunity
for many of us in the Fray to give the WaPo
a few well-deserved (in my opinion) chops.
It's hard for me to believe (much though I want to)
that Donny Graham's empire will allow such criticism of itself.
That's a real loss.
